National Service Scheme

The college has two units of N.S.S. The first unit was introduced in August 1978 and the second in 1985, in all 200 students are registered under this scheme every year. Each volunteer has to work for 240 hours during the span of two years. All students have to participate in day camps organized from time to time. A week long Special camp is also organized annually to inculcate feelings of social service in the volunteers Certificates are issued to all the volunteers.



Sports & Rangers

The college has a large playground with courts for Bad-Minton, Basket-Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball. It has ample space for athletics, sports and games of various types. Tracksuits and kits are provided to the players. Students from the college participate regularly in various inter-collegiate and university level competitions.



Library

The College Library is an important hub of campus life. There, you can check your book, conduct your research, find a quite place to study, and maybe even flip through a magazine. What's more, today's college libraries extend their reach out into the internet, making many service and resources accessible right from their website.

We have approx 35000 books, 8 newspaper, 8 Journals, 22 Magazines and many more. We also have many reference book, encyclopedia of Britannica, encyclopedia of social science.

We also have an award related to library-Maximum Library user award.



College Magazine

Every year the college publishes a magazine under the title "Vidushi" Besides presenting a record of the activities and achievements of the institution through out the year, the magazine provides an outlet to the imaginative and creative talent of the students who contribute their articles to it in the form of stories, poems, essays etc. Under the able guidance of their members. The magazine is also enriched with articles from the teachers and other staff-members. An editorial board comprising teachers and student in formed annually to accomplish the task.



Computer Lab

Well-designed and separate computer labs for Students, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia, most of them are with 17" LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for Students.



Music Room

Separate music room is provided for the students where their interest in music can be nurtured. Music and Dance find a special place in the College curriculum to develop aesthetic in girls. Highly trained and qualified staff tutor the girls in vocal and instrumental music.
